Our Beliefs According to the Bible

At Heroes Church, we hold firm to the foundational truths of the Christian faith as revealed in God’s Word, the Bible. Our beliefs are rooted in the teachings of Scripture, and we strive to live in accordance with the truth it provides. Below are the core beliefs that guide us

A Faith Rooted in Christ

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired, inerrant Word and the ultimate authority for faith and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16 | 2 Peter 1:21

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19 | John 14:16-17

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and human, and the Savior of the world through His death, resurrection, and ascension.

We believe salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works.

We believe in the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit to convict, guide, and empower believers.

We believe baptism symbolizes the believer’s faith in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

We believe in Christ’s literal return to judge and establish His eternal Kingdom.

We believe in deliverance through Christ, bringing freedom from oppression.

We believe in eternal life with God for those who believe in Jesus, and eternal separation for those who reject Him.

The Miracle of Salvation

God's Gift of Salvation: Salvation is the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ, offered by God’s grace and love. It is the forgiveness of sins and reconciliation with God.
Ephesians 2:8-9 – "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
Jesus’ Sacrifice: Jesus' death on the cross paid for our sins, and His resurrection provides the hope of new life for all who believe in Him.
Romans 5:8 – "But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Receiving Salvation: Salvation is received through faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, leading to forgiveness, transformation, and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to live for God.
John 14:6 – "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
